He earned his law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana with Honors in 1988.

He holds specializations in Business Law from ITAM and in Labor Law from Universidad Panamericana (UP).

He is an attorney with significant experience in the Telecommunications, Infrastructure, Public Works, and Oil (Upstream) sectors.

He has extensive experience in structuring corporate strategies, trusts, joint ventures, and significant real estate projects, and has been part of interdisciplinary teams handling litigation and resolving complex disputes.

He has taught courses at ITAM and was a professor of Business Law at UP for the Business & Management program, among other teaching activities.
